Michiel van Wissen (COO) has been a head chef his whole life; food and service is his passion and he has evolved his craft further over decades while working internationally.

He joined the yacht industry as Head of department almost a decade ago and loves the opportunities created through traveling, cooking, and connecting with new people from all cultures.

Michiel was born in the Netherlands and was enrolled at the Amsterdam College for Hotel and Gastronomy as a young man. Michiel earned his Culinary Arts Degree after four years of training, including one in Paris, France. While in Paris, he cooked for famous artists including James Brown, Blur, and The Rolling Stones. 

After completing his study in Paris and working under other well-renowned chefs,  he opened his own fine-dining restaurant in the Netherlands. After six successful years, Michiel seized the opportunity to move to Australia and work as Chef de Cuisine before starting his own catering business with business partner Linda, serving 500+ guests at various upscale events.

Linda has also been in the food and hospitality industry for many years. She loves working with people and developing processes to create success. She is an agile operations leader and strategist.
